The Everyday Phonecall

I leave early to work and handling Aarush is left to Kiran everyday in the mornings. When I say handling he has to 1. Brush his teeth 2.Tackle poopy diaper( Kiran says his nose drops off with the fragrance) 3.Bathe him 4. Get him ready for daycare 5. Put together all this things for daycare.and 5. The tough part of leaving your child at the daycare everyday.

So after coming to work, the phone call I make has the same questionnaire everyday: 1.Is he doing okay? 2. When did he wake up? 3. Did he poop ?4.Did you take his bottle form fridge? 5. Did you put the lunch box inside the diaper bag? 6. Did you give him something to eat?
Thanks to Kiran, he very patiently answers all my questions everymorning.

@ The Pool

We took Aarush to our community's pool on Father's day. It was so hot and we had to wait until 8:00 PM to get him out of the house.
Kiran held Aarush in his arms and made him swim from one end to the other. We wanted to see if he likes being in water before I bought him the baby float. Aarush was so busy staring at other kids, we couldn't tell if he enjoyed being in water. He never showed a sign of fear, for which we were very proud ofcourse. It was so funny to watch him tap his legs like he was a pro. When we made him sit on the platform for some time he was so ready to jump back in and we realized he loved the pool. Both dad and son enjoyed their time in the pool while mommy was going crazy taking pictures. All in all it was a well spent evening and we plan to do this more often before winter peaks in.
P.S: I bought him the baby float and it will be more fun the next time

Daddy Time

Usually Kiran bathes Aarush on weekdays. So yesterday  I went to pick Aarush from daycare in the evening his hair was standing up and not willing to sit. I exactly know what happened.
It happens when dad puts a little too much pressure while shampooing.

Talking about that also reminded me of this funny incident, when Aarush was a small baby about 6 weeks old, we went to my Ob/Gyn for followup checkup. As we were running out of time I went straight to the office while Kiran was to get Aarush in his stroller which was the first time we were using the stroller.

And Kiran not knowing the technique of putting car seat in the stroller, he put the tiny little baby directly in the stroller and strapping him. Poor baby was no where to be seen in that giant thingy.
