I leave early to work and handling Aarush is left to Kiran everyday in the mornings. When I say handling he has to 1. Brush his teeth 2.Tackle poopy diaper( Kiran says his nose drops off with the fragrance) 3.Bathe him 4. Get him ready for daycare 5. Put together all this things for daycare.and 5. The tough part of leaving your child at the daycare everyday.
So after coming to work, the phone call I make has the same questionnaire everyday: 1.Is he doing okay? 2. When did he wake up? 3. Did he poop ?4.Did you take his bottle form fridge? 5. Did you put the lunch box inside the diaper bag? 6. Did you give him something to eat?
Thanks to Kiran, he very patiently answers all my questions everymorning.

Substitute Daycare
Aarush's actual daycare lady made a trip to India and found us a substitute daycare for 3 weeks with M.
M wanted us to bring him during the weekend before she took over so he will get used to her. There was lot of space in her home to run around and lots of toys too. The very first day I took him he cling on to me for about 10 minutes and tried to pull their flower vase the 11'th minute. The second day he didn't even care to look for me. And then there was no stopping. He enjoyed there as much as he would in his actual daycare-Thatz another smooth transition.
Baby M and Aarush are about the same age and had so much fun playing and running and chasing each other. M was nice enough to take some pictures during the day.

On the way home!
As we head home from daycare, I keep talking and singing all of Aarush's favorite rhymes . He sometimes responds and sometimes doesn't. "If you are happy and you know it..." is one of his favorite rhymes and whenever I sing he claps his hands promptly. So yesterday while picking up, I was singing that and he was busy playing with keys but as soon as he heard me, he dropped the keys and started to clap his hands though he cannot see me from his rear facing seat. It is amazing to see him pick so many things and remember them. And Sir Aarush doesn't like it when I take a little break from all that singing , he whines immediately indicating me to not stop but keep on. Yup! they demand and you better oblige.
Aarush has been doing lot of cute things off late and whenever I try to capture it in a video he stops the display of talent and tries to grab the camera.
He can now point to Fan, light, ball, elmo, musical table, his own picture, can comb his hair which ends up scrapping the ears. He's been imitating whatever we do, last night I tried to put bindi from the packet he got hold of and he immediately took out one and stuck it to his head.
I will try to record his antics and upload 'em soon.
