The Grandparents Visit!!

Remember this post , Wishes do come true! His Amamma & Tatha finally made a trip to US.  It is indeed an awesome feeling to have parents around. Aarush loved their company, wish they stayed with us forever and ever and ever. We visited a bunch a places with them and I don’t remember the kids bothering us much except for an occasional 'Palu kavali' , 'chocolate kavali' stuff!
Aarush now knows how Thata has his insulin injection and by what name Ammumma calls him, he still calls our guest bedroom as Thatha's bedroom. Dad and mom would hold Aarush and Megha while we left for work and they happily waved me bye and got back to their monkey business. Thatha was more of a toy to them and both would climb , jump and use him as toy. They would come to Ammumma if they needed anything to eat or when Ammumma is doing any cool stuff like drying ‘oorimirapakayalu’ so they could go and mess with them.

It was too adorable to watch him walk behind my dad with his hands folded backwards in the typical grandfather style. He would hang out in their bedroom until
midnight( I am not exaggerating here!)until I pity my parents' sleepy faces and pull the kids out of their room and forcefully put them to sleep!
Thanks to my parents and Megha's company Aarush's vocabulary grew by heaps. He now mostly converses in Telugu and his teacher tells me he speaks in English at school, so there! I have a multilingual already!Hope it continues this way.

Aarush and Megha started off with rough play, of course no surprises there and a day later they were the best of best friends. They still want the same toy and would snatch the said toy as soon the other drops it even for a split second but played as a team other times. I awwwwed when my dad showed me their playing style of how one of them would pretend falling off from the tricycle and calls out for help and the other runs up and gives the hand for support. They would play just this when in backyard over and over again. Isn’t that something? Some really cute creative stuff I say!
They both learned from each other, be it vocabulary, be it silly stuff, be it good things.  Looking them together made me realize that having twins would have been just awesome sans the trouble part!
