My Parrot's catching up!!!!

My mom said I started speaking around 9 months of age and Kiran at 3 years, so we thought Aarush might average it out and would start talking around age 2. During his 18 months wellness visit, I literally counted the number of words Aarush could speak, it barely summed up to 20. His doc said he should be able to speak at least 20-30 words by the time he hits age 2. He slowly picked up words and would utter them randomly and never when asked for. I don't know what happened in the India trip, but it changed my baby to a big boy. He can now repeat almost everything that we say, okay may be he cannot repeat "Schwarzenegger" yet!!! Not only repeating but he now understands if we are talking about him and tries to participate in the conversation. Like the other day I was telling Kiran about how Aarush threw up his food again at the daycare and he immediately started making the "gagging" sound!!!It's already time to be cautious of what we speak before him....sigh!!!
